Samsung to Expand Galaxy AI to 2022 Flagship Devices
Following its successful debut with the S24 series and extension to the 2023 flagship lineup, Galaxy AI is set to reach even more users as Samsung announces plans to provide updates to its 2022 flagship devices, including phones, foldables, and tablets.
The upcoming rollout will bring Galaxy AI to the following devices:
Galaxy S22 Series
- Samsung Galaxy S22
- Samsung Galaxy S22+
- Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
Galaxy Z4 Series
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4
Galaxy Tab S8 Series
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S8
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
As part of the One UI 6.1 update, Galaxy AI will introduce a host of features such as Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion, and AI-Generated Wallpaper.
The tech giant plans to commence the Galaxy AI update rollout in May.
However, it’s important to note that while these features will initially be free for all users, they will become subscription-based after 2025, though specific details regarding pricing and feature accessibility post-2025 remain unclear.
