Vikings’ Jefferson to miss Patriots game, re-evaluation next week
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson will miss this weekend’s preseason clash with the New England Patriots and will be re-evaluated next week, head coach Kevin O’Connell said on Wednesday.
The four-time All-Pro has been sidelined since July 24 after pulling himself out of practice with a strained left hamstring. “He’s definitely progressing and doing a great job,” O’Connell told reporters before the team’s joint practice with the Patriots. “We hope to reassess early next week and see if we can start building on that workload.”
