23 terrorists eliminated in two IBOs across KPK: ISPR

Security Forces neutralize militants in Bajaur and Bannu as “Azm-e-Istehkam” counterterrorism campaign intensifies.

RAWALPINDI: Security Forces killed twenty-three khwarij affiliated with the Indian proxy group Fitna Al Khwarij during two separate intelligence-based operations conducted on 16–17 November in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Inter-Services of Public Relations (ISPR) Acting on confirmed intelligence, Security Forces launched an operation in Bajaur District. The troops successfully engaged the hideout, killing eleven militants, including their ring leader Sajjad, also known as Abuzar.

In a second intelligence-based operation carried out in Bannu District, twelve additional khwarij were neutralized.

According to ISPR, sanitization operations are ongoing to clear the area of any remaining Indian-sponsored militants. The statement added that Pakistan’s Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies will continue the relentless counterterrorism drive under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, to eradicate foreign-backed terrorism from the country.
