CIE Business Studies paper reportedly leaked ahead of exam
KARACHI: The AS-level Business Studies paper of Cambridge International Education was reportedly leaked online ahead of its scheduled exam, sparking fresh concerns over examination security.
According to reports, the Business Studies paper — identified as code “9609 Paper 1” — was circulated on social media late last night, just hours before it was due to be conducted.
The development comes days after Cambridge International confirmed that its AS Mathematics Paper 1 (9709) had also been leaked prematurely across multiple regions, including Pakistan.
In a statement issued earlier, the exam board acknowledged that the Mathematics paper was “shared prematurely against our regulations” and said it had launched a detailed investigation into the breach.
Cambridge International said its priority was to ensure that students were not disadvantaged while maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
