Gunman killed during security operation after firing incident on Rawalpindi’s Mall Road
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan security forces killed a gunman during a timely operation following a firing incident on Mall Road, Rawalpindi, security sources said on Tuesday.
According to the sources, the gunman opened fire near Mall Road, prompting security personnel to launch an immediate operation against him.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Hussain, a resident of Khyber district, the sources said.
Security sources further claimed that Hussain was an active member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

A PTI party flag, weapons, ammunition and other documents were reportedly recovered from the suspect’s possession, according to the sources.
